  • 1. Having Purpose. Understand the Ikigai of your own existence, your businesses, and the people you interact with as employees, partners, peers will help you to be in flow and happy.
  • 2. Importance of Planning. Take efforts to understand what activities are needed to achieve a certain pursuit, who can do those activities and when those activities will be completed. You write it down in a piece of paper and verify it few other experts, strategists to see if it is realizable. This gives a minimal guarantee to achieve your goals.
  • 3. Importance of People. To achieve anything of greatness, you will need people who have the expertise and passion in doing the activity, their time availability, their willingness and intention to work with you as a "mentor", "employee", "partner". Always keep accountability and transparency on the activity and its progress. Sometimes people who work with you require training and repeated practice to get better in their activity.
  • 4. Having a Product. Your offering to the market as a product or service mandatorily needs to be based on the "needs or pain points" of the users or entities. This should be based on market research, focus groups or opinions of industry experts of that market.
  • 5. Having a Process. A clearly written down steps of doing an activity. This will require continuous refinement based on audits, expert opinions to achieve the necessary quality, consistency.
  • 6. Understanding People's Personality. It is important to understand the values, interests of your self, your employees, your partners. This understanding will help you fasten in your life pursuits.
  • 7. Importance of having Passion. Effortless effort from your own self, your employees, your partners will give you the much needed clarity of understanding who can do what activity at ease. A simple question is "can they do this activity in their sleep without thinking?" will help you understand if they have the passion and are the right fit for your pursuit.
  • 8. Importance of Principles. Reliability is as much important to achieve the necessary pursuits. If you or the people who work with you or the partners are un-reliable in their activity, You will have difficulty or cannot finish the activities that were planned, even though they might have the necessary expertise.
  • 9. Importance of Practice. Always be Practicing. When you are willing to put the needed effort to learn any activity: In due time the activity will become so easy to you and you will become an expert naturally.
